When you really need a break from a stressed out life in a freezing cold or smoggy up country, or if you just prefer to stay in the peace and quite of a small nature resort on a tropical island, but aren't ready to give up on all perks that modern civilization has on offer: In the Koh Mak retreat you can experience what if feels like to completely relax in the privacy of your own beachfront villa, while overlooking the sea that we share with a famous 5.5 star beach resort on the isolated Koh Kood island just across. Uniquely designed with an eye for details, like the beautiful wooden elevated walk ways and the impressive no-walls restaurant where all of your favorite Thai delicacies are being served.

Go for a swim in the seemingly endless infinity pool, at this resort on Ko Mak, that really appears to flow directly into the clear sea in front of the Pub Pla retreat with it's amazing volcanic bedding and a golden beach. Feel one with nature in not one, but a choice of two beautiful showers in your villa. Especially to open air shower will make you want to come back time and time again.

Obviously, the villas come with all the conveniences you expect in a comfortable resort as this: (24 hour) Air-conditioning, warm water shower, LCD Flat Screen TV, a personal safe, a desk, a mini-bar / mini-fridge, a hair dryer, black out curtains, complementary toiletries, daily change of linens (if required)

The Koh Mak retreat, which is also known as the Plub Pla Retreat or Plub Pla resort Ko Mak, is a private beach resort were you can come to close yourself off from the world completely. The nearest resort is approximately 3 kilometers away and the only two other buildings in the area belong to the Koh Mak retreat resort. However, if at any time you and / or your partner feel the need to get out or get a little exercise, please make sure to ask our very friendly reception staff for a pair of mountain bikes and our detailed map, which holds a number of trips plotted out for you, so you can set out on an eco-friendly discovery trip of Koh Mak island without wasting the world's nearly depleted fuel reserves or being involved in the nasty accidents that seem to always come with vacation scooter rentals.

While we strive to create a fitting website, it seems highly unlikely that we will ever be able to create something that will be anywhere near as beautiful as the Koh Mak retreat and the luxurious beachfront Villas and Sea view villas in it.
